why would you be touching your guitar and computer motherboard at the same time?

it seems most of you dumbasses were too busy coming up with a smartass reply rather than actually thinking about why such a question would arise.

the reason i'm asking is: you know how during some concerts you see guitarists pour water/beer (from a bottle for eg.) on themselves to cool down and then just keep on playing, or sometimes a douchebag in the crowd will throw water at you while your playing on stage? well, i just wanted to fucking know if that shit could fuck you up. i've witnessed people getting shocked with wet microphones, afterall. i'm concerned about my safety here and i'm not actually planning on getting water on my precious guitar.

my guitarist fell in a hottub with his Washburn Dimebolt 333, the guitar was fine but his wireless never worked again.

i don't think so,
bands like simpleplan who sing and cry at the same time would have got electrocuted by now

shocks are usually ground problems. Especially with vintage amps with 2 prong cords.

I'm sure we all know throwing water on anything electrical isn't wise... but unless you submerge the guitar there's so little current actually running through it that while it MAY permanently damage the guitar, it's probably not going to electrocute you.

If im playing for a long time with some people and i get sweaty i can get a mild tingly sensation when i run my forearm over the pickups.
