hello everybody :)

I'm in a bit of a pickle. For awhile now i've been contemplating throwing a guitar together out of spare parts and whatnot. I have the electronics, the pick-ups, the bridge, all the knobs and other doodads I could possibly need, but I don't have a body or neck.

Anyways, I was dicking around on ebay and came across these.

ML Body

http://cgi.ebay.com/24-fret-Jackson-sty ... dZViewItem

random, no-name neck (the neck isn't THAT important right now, I would like to get a warmoth built or something, but i've got kids to feed.)

Now all this would be fine and dandy, but......
I can't tell if that neck will work with that body. The body page doesnt have any dementions on it or anything, and I can't send the owner an e-mail because I don't have an E-bay account (my sister has to order the shit for me, I just have to wait for her to come home first). So what should I do? :?

Also, these items are only going to be up for a few more hours, so save your joke answers for later.

Edited because i'm retarded.

Well mostly all the ML's are the same size, so try to email Dean Guitars and ask for the measurements, those will be accurate :negro:

I'm sure it's not the last neck ever going to be sold on e-bay. Just buy the body and wait for a different neck.

I thought about that too, but knowing me i'll blow my neck money on something stupid. Plus, i'm going to have some time on my hands next week, so i'd like to put it together then. and i'm gay for that headstock.

Edit: nevermind, fuck that neck.

Now I have a new question, ML's usually have 22 frets, correct?

Does it matter? You're not making an ML, are you?

I don't know if it matters, I just figured it would be less of a headache if I just used the same scale length and whatnot.

If the worst happens youl always be able to resell neck on ebay. I got a replacement neck for an old beatup bc rich i use as my backup guitar, managed to get a real nice, black, finished bolt on with a similair feel to a set neck (which i preffer) for around 30 quid. Ill try and find the auction from my item history and post the ebaystore id.

They dont appear to have any necks in just now, hard lines. Keep checking back though because its definately worth it.
