Got a new trem.

Well actually i got it at christmas but it was missing the studs and it took me a good while to find replacements. Its an older schaller floyd, and so far, i fucking love it, incredibly stable and solid.

I've heard that they are better than Original Floyds. That true?

Yes. The "original floyd" is still made by schaller though. But the actual schaller trems are more compact, and the parts just seem to be more solid, also the knife edges are more easily replaced, not that i think i will need to.

The wood is stained Black/Red, well the paintjob is see thru Black Cherry anyway, and its laquered obviously. I love the paint job, it was alot brighter when i first got it but it darkened with smoke from gigs and the studio etc, and looks alot cooler now actually in my opinion.
