im probably asking the wrong bunch of people, but nonetheless, i want to try and bug myself while doing standup sets so i can put my material online. i was wondering if anyone here had any reccomendations for pulling off a decent voice recording without paying someone an insane amount of cash to do it off a soundboard...

Umm, a four track maybe?
It's not hard, really it isn't.

I got a Tascam 4 track that I use at home to record ideas for $17.00 off ebay.

that would work, but im really looking for a way to swing it live. something small enough that it wont be noticable and i tan easily take it from club to club. this early on in the game all i really got goin for me is open mic nights, and i think if i got some shit recorded and posted out there i could start getting booked more.

i was thinking a minidisc recorder or a mini mp3 recorder, but the quality on those is kinda shite.
