it's called "Pre-Hibernation." It's only like 2 minues long, and as someone pointed out to me, it's basically just the main riff from "Death Rattle."

Yeah, I was talking about this a few days back. In response, someone posted a link in the musicians forum or some shit. But you can always go to Target and pick up the Spongebob show Soundtrack for $5.99. It has the song on there. If I find it, I'll post it back here......

Did anyone ever see the episode of Spongebob that featured Pantera? It first aired back in 2000 I think. They wrote a instrumental song called "Prehibernation" for the show and it can be found on a Spongebob soundtrack. Not the movie soundtrack, but the show soundtrack that has like 8 songs.
When I saw the show the first time, I thought it was the Death Rattle. If you wanna check out the song, head over to Target and buy the CD. It's only $5.99. I think they still sell it. I bought mine back when it came out.

My kids and I have always watched SB every morning on Nic for years and I remember the first airing of that ! Haha ! And when the PanterA logo with flames came up I shot the fuck up in my seat , my kids know who PanterA is as well and we all said simultaneously " PanterA ? " !

I have the 2nd Season DVD box set of SpongeBob, and it has Pre-Hibernation week on it.

I've also got the soundtrack with that song on it.

I'm glad that metal bands like SpongeBob. I even have a shirt with Metallica and SpongeBob on it that I bought from Hot Topic.
