Thanks everybody! Yeah 5150 for guitar left, Mesa Tri Rect for guitar right. Of course myspace doesnt make it sound its best.

The Hellraiser is nice, i used it on a few tracks that have been on my personal page.

What the hell was the name of that band? I still have the MP3s and when I play them for friends I want to be able to say the name and not "this guy I know from the PBB's band".

you actually show that to people? why the fuck do you do that?

we never had a REAL name, at one point we called ourselves Esoteric, then Ravenous and then In Shadow. I was 13 and 14 then, how weird...

Myspace seems to fuck up the sound pretty well, with some added off the wall chorusing effect on the highs.

Those songs must have taken 400 hours each to record, there is a lot of shit going on.

Oh and those guitar harmonies that you play during the beginning of the guitar solo in Napalm are fucking badass.

Nah. We just took 4 days in the studio, with on average 4.5 hours per session of recording.

Thanks for the compliment man! When we get Ashes of Pompeii you guys will dig that a lot as well.

Hey guys we added a song to our page from our upcoming EP. It's called Eye for an Eye. It's the last song on the list on our page.

here's the link: http://www.myspace.com/nephilimmusic

Also there's a newer song up on my personal music page you might want to check out. It's not metal or anything, it's a mellow intro/outro sort of tune (I guess). It's called Finding My Soul, check it out.

New song isn't playing, qtf.
Nevermind, there we go.

Damn, obsessed at all? Haha no but that's cool! That is one of my favorite Nephilim songs for sure.

I think my favorite one though is probably Ashes of Pompeii, but I don't think we'll put it on our page until our EP comes out (April 7th).

It's kind of like our "epic" song. With the intro included (2 minutes), it is about 9 and a half minutes. But live I play the shorter version of the intro, which is only about 1 1/2 minutes. Either way, it's a fucking long song.

What happened to the chick bassist?

by warhead dime
What do you think? Booted the fuck out!!

We never wanted her in the band, she was thrown into it and we were reluctant to kick her out for a long time even though she could never handle the material, didn't fit personality-wise with the rest of the band and was the most boring piece of shit onstage. Basically, she was as good to us as a fucking 2x4.

We kicked her out after I became friends with our current bassist. I found him online and contacted him and setup a practice. He turned out to own ass on bass, have a perfect ear for what we do and similar tastes... and we had a great time hanging out with him. All the elements were there so we recruited him asap

I just recently found out that in April we're opening for Deicide and Vital Remains.

There's also a really good possibility that we'll be opening up for Necrophagist, Arsis and Cattle Decapitation!
