yeh.. you can tell by watching him that its kind of went to his advantage. I think his injury means he can only move his pinky a certain way or something.

I have the same thing. I fucked up my left hand in a fight and after it healed I can stretch my hand pretty insanely wide. The downside is that it sucks for tight chord grips on the guitar because it gets in the way of my ring finger.

My friend's dad has six fully functional fingers on each hand. Fuck, that would rule for bass.

I don't have any pictures of the guy, and he hides his hands most of the time. He's self-conscious about it.
