Education of the band members

I have a question for anyone that can answer it. I have a friend with a son that isn't doing that well in highschool. He is very bright but not motivated. All he wants to do is be a musician. He loves Pantera. What I want to know is the highest level of education that each of the band members has achieved. Any "ammunition" that I can find would be very helpful.

THANKS!!!

Phil now weaves baskets from a wheelchair, and mimes his yearning for a GED.

I loved all the responses that I got to my question. My friend and I are not trying to stifle the boy's creativity, we just think that he needs to think some things through.

Thanks again!!

Thanks again for the help!

You want him to be a Pantera band member clone then? Fuck that. Let the kid do what he wants.

tell the kid to coast through high school, keep taking lessons at whatever instrument he plays, start using cocaine so he can be cool enough to fit in with his local music scene, not even apply to college, get a menial job and eventually he'll be a burnt-out, drug-addled, unloved, in-debt, artistically unfulfilled twenty-something with already-greying hair and nothing but regrets for the past and a bleak, surrendering outlook for the future.

this will happen anyway. you may as well be honest :)

If you sexually abuse him he can write songs about it that mall-goths and Armenians can connect with. Just a helpful hint.
