Please help me with this Pantera part i am going to play liv

Post by socialparasite »

Hey all i am new to the boards but not new to pantera. I grew up on pantera and slayer. Anyways on the CD "Great Southern Trend Kill" song #9 "Floods". At about 6 min and 17 sec a little echo moody guitar part ends the song. I want to learn that note for note and play it for about 5 min. during a gig as a tribute. What is the tuning? Is there a correc tab out there for it? I have looked at tabs but most of them are different. Please help and i aprreciate it. I will be around i am not just a 1 time poster since i found out this board has a music section thanks in advance

its hard to find the "right" one or tab that is, usually tab sites have ratings on song just go for the one with the best, also they usually have a comment with their submitted tab and they will tell you the setup;tone effects or whatever

Powertabs is a good bet, the end is pretty much just an arpeggio of the same chord played all over the neck. Pantera420 is right, a little echo will give you the right sound. Good luck, as long as you don't have trouble stretching four frets it's a easy as fuck
