Cemetary Gates was the first Pantera tune I heard, but as for being hooked it was Shedding Skin.

Cemetery Gates. Heard that song and I was like...fuck I gotta learn this. If anyone lives around the Auburn, Maine area, you should come see my band play it on December 9th at the legion. Peace :-P

The first song I ever heard from Pantera was "Revolution Is My Name" and right after hearing that song I became a big fan.

I just found this board now and this is the best ? I could have to answer for my 1st post.

COWBOYS FROM HELL, I was into Iron Maiden, Slayer, and that group when a good friend of mine said he had something new for me. This guy's nickname is Cheese, cause he's cheesy, in everyway. The album befor CFH was Dream Theater. So I was like, Cowboys from Hell!!!! what kinda weak shit is this gonna be. On his uncles $1000 stereo I listened to the whole thing through. It ended and Cheese asked me, "So what cha think?" All I could say was " Dude, just play it again."

THIS BAND CHANGED MY LIFE!(Along with ST)

I love to see there is a site like this. I have many Pantera stories, I'm 33 and was just listning to Far Beyond today.

My mom cried the day Lenon was shot, I cried the day Diamond was shot.
