Only thing missing is my Peavey TKO 115 amp which is at my band's practice space but it's certainly not anything spiffy, just a solid rehearsal amp.

Yeah, the seven-string model.

I didn't realise there was a seven string version, nice choice. Do you keep it in a certain tuning?

I like it because the string spacing is good for fingerpicking and it sounds really nice running clean. I have it tuned to a sort of open Em7b9 kind of tuning. Everything played on it sounds grim and frostbitten.

A buddy of mine just bought this.

I guess if you have the cash it is worth it. 20 others were waiting on his right
to refusal, but he paid for it.

he will have it in his hands in 2 days

No guitar is worth $17,000 unless it makes you play like Paco de Lucia.

Where is the soft moist warm place I put my penis into it?
For that kind of cash, it should make espresso with steamed milk and dispense "penis clean up towels" too.

I think he's having a mid life fuck'n crisis.

I can't believe his wife ok'd it, then went to CA to get it for him.

His mortgage is paid and now he's got a Acoustic mortgage.
I would of bought a $1700 guitar and went to Hawaii for 3 months.

What a guy.

Just curious, that's not a drilling rig, what type of operations does it facilitate?

Posted: Fri Feb 16, 2007 5:03 pm
by Dimejandro
umm it does various operations of extremely complex nature. Just a quick number crunch off the top of my head it facilitates 60.6% (repeating, of course) of the centripetal force amoliations.

jackson sl1 - eq - sonic maximizer - hush - 5150 II - marshall 1960ax..with the greenbacks. I use to have a mesa recto slant cab, but i liked the tone I was getting better with this set-up, so i sold the mesa. I also have a korg dtr-2000 tuner..but am letting a friend borrow it. Soon I think i'm going to get a roadking straight cab, and a dual rect. I also want a tc electronic g-force..to finish my rack...and maybe a dbx compressor/limiter/gate..cause i'm not that happy with the hush.

No it's a some hairy mythological hero type of guy wrestling a three-headed dog. It is the absolute gayest-looking thing ever and I had to have it.

God damn it, some of us woul be happy with a decent valve combo :x

Actually I lie, I also need a monstrous pedal board for obnoxious sound manipulation. I currently run:

'62 custom reissue Tele > modified TS9 > Small Stone > Boss DD6 > Korg AX1500g > Fender Princeton Chorus ( :x )

I haven't decided whether or not I am going to pickup an Orange Crush 15R with the money I get from b-day or a small little class A tube amp.
