Those are ten of the heaviest traditional metal songs I have ever heard. Most of those would probably find a spot in my top 20. Marc Ferrari wrote 'Proud to Be Loud', so it's debatable whether or not it is a Pantera song. I think they certainly made the song their own though.

Good list, but neglects the earlier stuff and leaves out a lot of worthwhile tunes from their later efforts too.

How Floods can't be in one's top 10, I really don't know. It's a majestic epic. If they would have continued in that progressive, symbolic direction for an entire album it could have been incredible.

Great list, Cemetery Gates on 101 Proof is indeed more heartfelt and powerful

obviously any list and every list is going to be wrong unless you get the veterans not the fuckin newbs. cause we actually know what were sayin, people like songs more then others at different times, but it comes down to the real skill and complexity of the song that makes it badass, not "walk" because its a song that most poser newbs use to try and fit in.

but what i do know is floods, i'm broken,cemetery gates, and cowboys from hell have to be in the top ten, i didnt think hard over this, just whatever man dont make a list before you go over every goddamn song and know the affect it hard on people.(or 15 cause i know someone will bitch)
