Theres a recent interview wtih Pepper and Jimmie from Down and apperently all the trees around Phils house fell but NOT ONE fell on his house and his house was spared from the flooding even though he lives right on Lake Ponchatrain just outside of New Orleans. Phil is currently working on lyrics for Down III

Phils house was spared from the flood even though he lives right on Lake Ponchatrain (the Lake that sourrounds New Orleans and the primary lake responsible for the flooding). Go to the official DOWN site
www.down-nola.com and there is a recent interview with Pepper Keenen and Jimie Bower from Down. Every tree fell around Phils house but not ONE hit his house. Also Phil seems to be doing better now regarding Dime, and is working on lyrics for Down III!

I read an article that interviewed Hank Williams III and he's not sure which project Phils going to go with, SJR or Down. But Jimie Bower seems pretty fucking sure on the Down website that Phil is working on lyrics for Down III right nowl. I saw SJR in Portland and it was fucking incredible, I would like to see a third SJR album but also theyre record contract is up and they are not required to do a third album...
