If anything it was OVER produced. Personally I think its a masterpiece, on the one hand you have trademark Pantera aggression, on the other hand you have melody and diversity...I think they should've stayed with Terry Date to produce RTS, it would've taken pressure off Vinnie and Dime to just write badass music insted of worrying about the production aspect, probably would've been a lot better.Eibon wrote:good tunes, terrible production...how can you do FBD with such a raw, tight and heavy production...then do a piece of cardboard.M.I.A wrote:your a homoEibon wrote:trendkill has one of the worst productions in metal history...it's fucking flat and lame, 0 depth

100% the way to go. when you finally get all the cds watch out for "the sleep"mostly for its incredible solo,"regular people"has an awsome guitar riff and "hollow" at the end of vulgar and i think if 5 minutes alone is one of your favourite songs then you will definatly love far beyond driven also "shedding skin" fucking kicks arse and well the TGSTK is definatly my favourite and i think nearly every song there at there best and reinventing the steel has some fuckin mad heavy riffs like "yesterday don't mean shit" and any long time pantera fan will no that the couple of songs ive named don't even come close to being all of panteras best work, if your seriously into pantera just from the best of album which isnt really even there best of album then you will realise by the time you have all there albums that there will be like 2 or 3 songs you wont love out of there 5 albums and even then you will still like them.DBS wrote:i happened to get them in order by chance, and i think that it is a good progression. Start with cowboys from hell, get bored of it, move onto vulgar display of power. soon enough you'll come to realise that trendkill is your favourite.
