sure there are good bassists that use picks,But they just dont cut it for me it seems,like if they were to be compared to say victor wooten or jaco pastorius or even the great geezer...well i cant completely say that tho because geezer uses a pick for songs like children of the grave but he only uses it for very few songs with repetative bass lines.plus for me picked bass lines sound too harsh for my taste, unless its rex brown...hes the only exeption to the zero tolerance for all pick bassists!

also there are bassists who have had injuries that force them to use a pick.

thats true,i mean im not trying to be dicky about it,its just that ive always hated it for some reason................beside that I just ordered a new music man stingray dude it is sweet! i put a pic of it on " nifty basses i want to get" it wont to me for like 6 fucking months tho
oh well itll be that much more sweet wen i get it

Some songs i use a pick and sometimes i dont, kinda depends on how it feels.
