Unlike the leafs, who have the most obnoxious fans in the league, who think their team is the shit even though they suck it up and haven't even made the finals in how long?

Yes way louder, Carolina is a typical American hockey city, it's great when things are great and shit when the teams average.

The Leafs could not win one game in a season and still sell every seat. That's cool  Although the tickets prices are fucking expensive because of this.

Weight said it too. I heard it said more than once. Hey, they were happy.

And yes, Sanchez, what could you POSSIBLY have against the Toronto Maple Leafs organization?? :x

Good game. Good close game, which is what I wanted. The 'Canes aren't ugly, overall, but they look ugly with those damn playoff bears. Especially Hedican, he's not a bad-looking man, but Jesus, he looked terrible with that dark beard.

Justin Williams would look okay without a beard, and Eric Staal is kinda cute.

I'm done being girly.

thats not just hockey though, thats every sport. In the 90's if i wanted to go to a Knicks game id have to sell my first born, it was impossible. Now you can easily get seats. Down here in Tampa, the Bucs used to never sell out a game, then they get good, and they sell out every game, and have a waiting list for tickets over 100,000 people long. If a team sucks, they always will have less support. Its just how it is.

Unless it's the Leafs. They sell out all the time, it's impossible to get tickets, and they never win!

yeah i give canada a pass on hockey. The Leafs, the Habs, etc... most of the teams have an awesome fanbase up there. However to make the same argument i guess you'd have to look at the Blue Jays, or the Raptors.

It was a great series. One thing that pissed me off was that the first few games were on OLN so I couldn't watch them. Now that this season is over I have high hopes for next year. I'm sure the Kings will hold on to their tradition and let me down by the end of the season but I guess I'll have to wait and see.

does anyone know the details of the OLN deal? The league needs to be back on ESPN as soon as possible.

With the numbers OLN drew in, i'd be suprised if the NHL was even on OLN in a few years. I think ESPN is happy they ran, unfortunately.

Well, here's to looking forward to 20 or so total games on OLN next year, with 8 of them featuring the Flyers.

The rest of the teams in the west need to take note, if you beat Detroit early you only get to play in the finals, not win in the finals. :negro:

So how did you celebrate your team's win?

I watched the post-game interviews until 11:40, and then, even though I wanted to watch the rest, I was too tired and went to bed.
