To a point. The more you cut out of a base the less resonance you'll get that not even the best pickups can hide.

BC Rich is possibly the crappest guitars ever constructed. I always go into a guitar store and pick up a BC rich and wait for the mid-50's guitar hippy clerk to come over and say how good it is and see if they can keep a straight face.

Ok, fine...

Washburn. Deans seem clunky and heavy. Although they play good, I had a couple problems with string buzz and setting the bridge perfectly. Washburns, one the other hand fit my hand around the neck nicely and I had no problems going back and forth or finding the strings. I can't really judge Deans on that alone, because it's usually a store model that some shitdick tried to strum "2 Minutes to Midnight" and may have fucked up the neck and spured the saddles in the process. But I'll go with Washburn for now.

i voted washburn...but they only win because they have some damn good looking models. in terms of craftsmenship and sound theyre pretty close
