Megadeth!

So that was probably around '87/88? Although it's probably a bit embarrassing, he really doesn't look a lot different to other heavy metal bands at that time i.e, Anthrax, Megadeth, etc. I guess big hair like that was popular at the time.

. And if you look at the Cowboys from Hell band pic a couple of years later, the image is similar to NPFTD era Iron Maiden- they just look a bit more serious and they've ditched the slightly dodgy hair in keeping with the new musical direction.

I was only born in 87, but I'm sure the old metallers are a bit embarrassed looking back, and problem just wear a denim or leather jacket, band t-shirt and some of the wilder ones might don a skullet.

Over and out

Actually, that might not be true :D

The first TCP/IP wide area network was operational by 1 January 1983 , when the United States' National Science Foundation (NSF) constructed a university network backbone that would later become the NSFNet. (This date is held by some to be technically that of the birth of the Internet.)

It cracks me up when someone posts these 80s pictures, all proud, like they've discovered the cure for the hivs or something. Good job, kid.
