"Black" Hurricanes

I posted this on the Down board earliar, but nobody thought it was very funny. I thought it was funny, so I'm posting it here.

I have a black friend named Jason... is that a "black" name? Most "black" names sound like a cross between a brand of banana and French. So what? If the people who have gone to school and spent their lives in devotion to watching weather patterns want to name a hurricane, they can call it whatever they want. I'm just pissed that they haven't named a hurricane "My Ass". I'd love to see the weatherman say, "Hurricane My Ass is headed for the Gulf Coast". It would certainly lighten the mood.

If they start naming hurricanes "black" names, they should start with "Hurricane Hurricane", after the boxer. "Hurricane Farrakhan" would be good too, or maybe "Hurricane X". "Hurricane Snoop Doggy Dog"?

Here is a brilliant idea: Companies could bid to name a hurricane. "Hurricane Nike", "Hurricane Budweiser", "Hurricane Tampax". The opportunities are endless.

Oh yeah… “Hurricane Viagra” is about to fuck your shit up.
