What strings do you guys use? I go for the dean markleys(signature strings). Anyone use the dean markley blue steal strings, i heard there really good quality but cost a lot.

Never played anything but Ernie Ball, not because i think they're particularly amazing, just because They're the only standard roundwound strings that the guitar shop sells. I played 10-46 on my tele, and then changed to 9-46 for bluesy bends on the higher strings. My dime came with really light strings, i got rid of them and string it with 9-52s.. CHUG CHUG CHUG

DR strings. Thickest gauge you can get for a 4 string bass. Tuned to DGCF.
