Today is the first time I have prayed in a really long time...

I haven't seen Darrell in about a year, but I miss him now like I just saw him yesterday...I try to remember the last thing I said to him. I never would have thought to see him in such a peacful state. He laid there so still.

I pray that he is okay...that he is not lonely or sad. I pray that he sees us...that he sees how we hurt. I pray he hears us...singing his songs...playing his tunes. I pray for Rita & his family...that they know how much he loves them and always will.

There are so many reminders and memories everywhere I look. So many...

I can just be sitting at work or at home and a memory will cross my mind and then tears just fall...they still fall.

I pray he feels...feels all the lives he touched...

Darrell, I learned so much from you in the ten years of knowing you...how to live life, how to treat people, how to laugh...

I will never forget your smile and energy.
