metal for teenagers grounded by their parents who are angry they didn't get an xbox for their birthday. Most popular because their t-shirts had a marijuana leaf on them. I feel Pantera paved the way for Korn, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit and countless other teen pop angst groups invented to be slightly more commercial versions of Pantera. The first 4 albums were actually decent glam, before they reinvented themselves, Diamond became Dimebag, confederate flags appeared, they started marketing liquor and finally the unfortunate shooting of 'dimebag' and racist white power bullshit from ex members.
