Anyone who is into Radiohead-esque bands needs to listen to Other Lives. They aren't imitators or anything, but you'll be reminded of their influences throughout the first few listens of their album. There are some neat King Crimson-esque moments as well. They're skilled musicians but there's nothing flashy. If you don't pay attention you'll miss some of the odd time signatures and transitions between completely different sounding sections. Really cool stuff. Tup

So I know I'm way late on this but I didn't get around to checking out In Rainbows until a few days ago. I like it a lot. It has this...swagger that the other albums (although those are brilliant) lacked. They sound way more confident than they used to, but not in a cocky way. Tup

I don't think so, but I'm sure you can still buy the vinyl. The artwork in the box set is cool but the extra material isn't as good as the album.

Porcupine Tree are Prog and always have been. Sure they've experimented with heavier moments on the last few albums but they're not metal.
