Too relaxing. The master bedroom is bluish-gray. That's enough blue for this house.

floyd i know what you were going after with the orange but you picked the wrong tone. it's gotta be more rusty or burnt. i know..because i almost pulled a stunt like that in my living room for an accent wall. go to this link

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RqkoyMQpvRc

and fast forward to 1:20 or so. the orange on that one wall is what you want.

It's not far off when you're in the room in real life. It looks brighter in the pictures because of the camera. The wall is actually a "fiesta" orange with a darker shade of orange ragged over it for texture. You can't really see it that well in pictures though. It's a lot more muted with just the track lighting. I think it's pretty close to perfect.

I can't say enough how much I hate dealing with real drums. Too many variables; electronic drums are just easier to work with, in my opinion.

Their convenience for recording cannot be denied. No need for regular maintenance in the form of replacing heads. But I just think e-drums come up short in terms of feel and dynamics. There are just some intricacies you can't replicate (not yet, at least) on pads. I'd actually almost equate it to having sex with a condom. There are times I'll have to practice on e-drums, and I lose my motivation and interest a lot quicker those days... like I'm really struggling to enjoy myself when I know how great it is to have total control over real drums and responsive cymbals.

Really, the cymbal aspect is my only quibble with e-drums, especially hi-hats where I tend to prefer a great deal of nuance. But they get better every year and the pros outweigh the cons by a large margin, at least for me.

at first it was just an annoying joke, but i found out layers of cow manure packed on the wall makes the best soundproofer / insulation. it helps to bring crackers and cheese to snack on while jamming because for some reason eating cheese makes the cowcrap a little less offensive. I recomend trying it in your music room. you can paint it orange after it dries.

No, it's a 200-watt multiple-input keyboard/PA amp. Works well enough for keys and electronic drums. Not gig-worthy though. Nothing by Behringer is.

The sax player in Efflux used a plastic Behringer delay pedal. I suspect that it ruined a few DI boxes

They're so disposable that the only reason why I even own the thing is the guy I played in an electronic band with a few years back just left it at my house and never came back for it.

speaking of behringer the vamp 3 will be out on march 5th.

It looks like the pro 2 but it is red (copying line 6) and apparenty the revamped the 28 head and cabs.

The biggest new feature is a usb port and recording software it comes with.

Dissapointing that there is no new cab/head models to choose from.
