They're not terribly heavy, depending on the wood I'd say 20 to 30 lbs. They're a pain in the ass to transport, however.

I wish we had a store like that but it probably wouldn't stay in business here. Omaha, while having an abundance of musical talent, has most of its focus on singer/songwriter and indie types; neither of those musical approaches call for people rushing in throngs to pick up the bass and those that do are generally "too cool" to be excited about gear.

there's always older brothers in guitar center playing bass. they always got their eyes closed and the pain face on when they're playing. lol. least where i live. the young ones are always in the turntable/mixer section pretending they're kid capree.

I love watching the brothers play a drumset. They're all about going for style points with really exaggerated movements and facial expressions, even if they're just playing some simple shuffle thing.
