I haven't been to the south side in a while. I'm assuming that being from St Pete you may have heard of Psycho Jesus. He's a local rapper down there. Anyway, he's a pretty good friend of mine who actually showed me around Jannus the last time I was there and i caught Lamb of God/Machine Head there as well.

Hopefully Kingdom of Sorrow plays first, the Newport's a pretty good place to drink at and I can ignore them and chill at the bar. Horrible fucking band.

just got back from the show in tallahassee.
Toxic Holocaust was okay. all their songs sounds the same but still head-bang worthy.
Kingdom of Sorrow was next. now let me tell you, I didn't care for this band's album at all, but god damn if they don't rule live. they were fucking intense.
and of course Gwar. seen them 10 times now. the venue they played and have played in the past here is a peice of shit. the power blew out halfway thru the first song, then after a 10 minute delay they continued playing and the power blew again during the third song. once they got that fixed, then none of the mics worked so they just played and had the audience sing until that got fixed around song number 5-6.
highlights: the return of Sleazy P. Martini!
McCain and Hilary murdered on stage.
some guys and I got half the crowd to chant "Fucking an animal" towards the end of the set. Dave Brockie responded by saying No! now shut the fuck up!" I guess they hate that song, lol.

I'll be showing up late to the Milwaukee date. I don't want to see Kingdom of Sorrow and Toxic Holocaust isn't worth having to sit through Jamey Jasta's crap to wait for GWAR.

Apparently they hate that whole album. It's actually one of my favorite GWAR records, though.
