My mate did the argon bus twice, once with my mate (who also comes with us) and once with his bird. He says both times have been bearable on the way there but coming back sucks massive veiny ballscrot.

But don't worry about that

I also leave on the 29th, 7am flight to London then Hamburg. Get to the wacken spots around late afternoooooon son!

But we've done that the past 2 years running and we know how pricey it can be. We're all skint as fuck this year so we're tryin to cut back on some stuff.

I feel like such a fucking loser for missing Hellfest and I'm not going to this either. This summer has been a let down in terms of festivals, this is the first time since I was 16 I havent been to one. Its not just the music I care about, its missing all the comedy banter and hanging out with friends.

I could still do BOOM in august but that amount of psy-trance could turn a lumber jack gay.

People who have driven there before...what's it like getting out after the festival on Sunday? Is it easy to get out of the car parks or does it take forever????

For us it's changed every year. In 04 we awoke to pretty much an empty campsite and drove out straight away. But the festival has got a lot bigger since then. In 06 the queues were ridiculous. We came to a standstill on the dual carriage way for hours. It was cool though, everyone just got out of their cars and started drinking. Last year wasn't so bad, the queues getting out of the campsite were pretty bad for a couple of hours but I think they had directed cars to different roads to cut down on congestion. This is also one reason why we drive back to Hamburg on the sunday and stay there. The last thing you want to do is drive for 4 hours after being in a queue for that long. And be careful of police on the way out. They stop each car and ask them if they have been taking drugs etc.

We actually entered last year but it was disorganized to fuck and the grass on the pitch hadn't been cut and was around a foot high.
