those pickups are like adding a boost pedal in front of your amp, but go through batteries real quick and make it a pain in the ass to find a good setting on the amp. i had one but i kept fucking with my shit instead of just jamming.. i wouldnt recommend it with tube amps.. the high end freq's are real loud on this pickup and youll have to turn all your high knobs wayyy down or else it will be real scratchy and the pick hits stand out way more than the tone of the guitar itself and any long notes dont sound as loud witch is cool if you are playing fast thrashy beats all day like fear factory or anthrax... i think for your guitar you might be more happy with bassier pickups like invaders or destroyers but thats just my taste really. you cant really go wrong trying them out though, they sell for alot used on ebay so it wont be a total waste if you hate them..
