Dying Fetus is horrible. Misery Index is decent but boring. Annotations of an Autopsy is shitty. Arsis's newest album was kinda weak, but it was still enjoyable at least.

I've only heard Dying Fetus, Misery Index, and Arsis. Haven't checked out the other bands though. I hope I can go to the June 6 show. I'd fucking love to see Dying Fetus.

Am I the only person who thinks it's kind of odd that Dying Fetus and Misery Index are playing together?

You're fucked in the head. Dying Fetus and Misery Index are absolutely incredible. How could you possibly say Dying Fetus are "horrible"? They're one of the best technical brutal death bands in the scene right now, and Misery Index are FAR from boring. If anything I'd say Arsis is the most boring band out of the three. You silly goose.

horrible, no. not your cup of tea, i can see that. horrible is a band like korn, stuck mojo, or evanescense or flyleaf. dying fetus are fucking awesome, and i dont know how you could like arsis (especially we are the nightmare) and not like dying fetus.

Easy: Arsis and Dying Fetus don't sound similar enough for that to be unbelievable.

Though to be fair, I dislike most brutal/technical death metal in general.

i'd consider arsis to be a brutal death band. they just have more melody than your normal run of the mill brutal death band. we are the nightmare sounds pretty brutal to me, just a lot more melodic. the drums on that album are incredible.

I wouldn't call them brutal. Melodic/technical death metal. Not many brutal death elements to them, really.

Dying Fetus and Misery Index have both been incredible each time I've seen them. Arsis doesn't impress me at all and yeah, i've seen them live.

and Hektik, Dying Fetus had Misery Index open for them in 2003 when they toured the US with Skinless.
