I still have to shape the top and blend it into the outer rim. Other than that this is coming together really well.

It's not as manly as making candles, because it's manlier. :|):

Don't be such a jelly homo Jeb.

I'm not jealous that you copied a PRS design.

Thanks, the top is finally fully carved now and I love it, there are people that make guitars with just basic hand tools, but I will never be one of them, gotta have a band saw and a router table.

You make the fretboard too?

Yeah, when it's a custom inlay job. I invented a new scale length, so I bought a fret slotting saw and jig from LMI and had a custom template made for my scale length. Otherwise if it's my own inlay design, I have it CNC'd. I don't like doing inlay, so it's easier to just pay someone else to CNC it out for me.

I'm looking into purchasing this, not a custom made, but custom build. Love the tiger flame. The guy is asking $450.

'51 P body with wyalt Precision split coil, one piece flame drop top with a flame maple neck with MOP binding and block markers, white pearloid guard, Hipshot ultralight machines a Drop D tuner

Yeah, I'm going for it...I gotta drive about 1.5 hours to get to it, I hope it plays as good as it looks.
I'd hate to come home empty handed.
