I'm itching to get back into playing and my friend has an Ibanez GIO for sale here.
He said he bought for about $220 (i think) brand new and is going to let it go for about $150 - $180, which is good because im dirt poor at the moment as im trying to save up for flights and a crazy week in Bangkok, anyway

here's a couple of shitty pics i took with my shitty phone

Not busting balls, but the GIO series is the "entry level" Ibanez line...

They are selling for $179 new and between $60 to $120 used.
These are the shit guitars they put in the beginners "jam pack".

If it's pristine, anything over $120.00 is rip off.

no balls busted

the only thing i should have said again is that dont forget im living in the 3rd world, you cant even buy a real cd, xbox game, dvd, unmodded console here, everything is fake, theres no real dealerships or anything like that really. for $150 its not such a bad deal for this part of the world and for the spare cash i got floating around to blow on a guitar with the rent, bills, saving for a holiday and a fucking visa coming up

other shit they have here that looks halfway decent are just out of my price range and id be so skeptical about them being fake, as with the gio its such a cheap guitar i dont think its even worth faking.

So then you're an idiot for knowingly buying a cheap piece of shit, and having suspicions that said cheap piece of shit could possibly be a counterfeit. Please, do go on with your amazing display of intellect.

JJ, this does kind of explain his situation, you might want to cut him some slack.

I'm only talking shit because it's moose. I could give a shit less what he buys.
If you don't like being poor however, don't willingly choose to live in a 3rd world country and get shit pay.

I've always been impressed at the playability of even the lower end Ibanez guitars. I've never had the chance to play a high-end Ibanez, but I'd like to.
