Me tooling around on my bass, just isn't that impressive.
I could sit and jam Higher Ground and Steve Harris licks, but it's really just kind of dumb when ya get down to it.

Unless it's Chris Polock, Jeb won't care anyway.

Not bad for a first take. I was gonna stop and try again after the first lick since I fucked up on it then decided just to keep playing and I thought it sounded decent to post it on here. I was also wearing uncomfortable shoes during that recording.

Fine Jeb , I didn't want to participate in your stupid thread anyway.

Oh, and your playing is generic, lacks any feeling and is hacky at best.

Yup, and I'm pretty good at it and pocket between $100 - $150 a night for doing something I enjoy doing.
It's really all good!

I'm sure it is, seems like a good time. I'm sure Jeb could throw together a few people to play "Freebird" maybe not the solo, but a solid rhymn player... What else do you guys cover? I remember you posting a set list, and I believe it was like sevendust or something along those lines. But you can't be hating on people when you're playing other peoples music... Truth. Xoxo

It can take quite a bit of skill to play a lot of other people's music whereas it's pretty easy to just write your own music that is always in your comfort zone and skill range.

So unless you're only playing Nirvana covers or writing music like Frank Zappa. . . .

Seems like the other way around to me. Coming up with something original and developing your own style seems rare nowadays.
