Does anyone have their own unique style of playing?

So far, I only know Hektik does upward picking when doing pinch harmonics and someone mentioned in the Chris Poland thread that they know a bass player with 6 fingers, I'm sure that gives him some sort of advantage when playing.

No one else has any injuries that has affected their musical performances or have developed a style that's different from others?

I think I abuse the Index to Pinky trill the way Zack abuses harmonics.
But all that Djent, math-metal, tech-death shit abuses the FUCK out of runs like that.

I'm trying to learn more jazz chords to insert in my metal, ala Opeth and Ihsahn.
And sweep picking is grim to the fucking whatever to get down.

I'm unique in the sense that I fucking suck at playing guitar. Drum-wise, I don't do anything different from how anyone else would.

The only thing I could think of is that while singing, my old music teacher told me I was different since I would always harmonize instead of singing the main melody of whatever song was being sung at the time. <_< If that counts. I doubt it.
