Save up for new guitar or half-stack?

Post by CFH Eternal »

Well as soon as they turn up on ebay I plan to buy a pair of PRS HFS and Vintage Bass pickups and install them on my SG and take out my EMG's. My question is, do I save up for the new guitar or new amp? I plan to sell my Randall (RG100SC) and all. The guitar I plan to get is a Washburn X50 in wineburst and replace it with a Seymour Duncan Distortion or get the Peavey Triple XXX half-stack.

In my opinion, a new amp would make the biggest difference on your tone. Go for that first. Guitars are a lot easy to come by anyways. You may not get another chance at a new amp for awhile.
