Words can't express how I feel today, man..

I keep getting goosebumps even when listening to Walk..

I am who I am because of PanterA, I've learnt a lot from their lyrics.. mostly the Take-No-Shit attitude..

May you Rest In Peace, as one of my Heros I wish you the best.

I wonder if the thought of dying and thousands of people mourning his death even crossed his mind.. Man, if he's looking at us from skies above, he must be feeling very strange.. maybe he's crying.. but no man, he's stronger than all.. :)

Dime is a great inpiration to me, not a day goes by when I don't think of everything he's given me. He gave me the urge to pick up a guitar, he influenced me to listen to good music, he touched everyone that met him, he never had a bad word to say about anyone and was always willing to take the time to talk to fans. I would give most anything in my life to be able to go back and spend a few minutes talking to him, but unfortunatly he was taken from us 3 years ago by a sadistic freak Nathan Hale. People like Hale deserve to be taken out back and kicked in the head before they are shot.

When our spirits were down, your strings healed our souls

When our faces were bloodied, the squeals picked us up off the ground

When our hearts were tired, you gave us unity

When our hero died, you became immortal.

As we take this day to reflect on the loss we suffered, we remember what he gave his life doing.

All hail Dime.

Shred In Peace Dime

Yeah, 3 years later and man, it still sucks that he's gone. He was a master shredder and his solos were the best. I love the way his riffs "Eat up the speakers"! They're so full and heavy, it's like no one else was able to create that sound...period.

Pantera is one of my all time favorite bands still, and I still can't believe that there will never be another album, it's like they were the last REAL Metal band left outside of the Death/Black genre. All 6 of their official releases are my favorites.(including 101 proof).

Has anyone else got the Pantera Slaughtered Show bootleg and BlackTooth? Listen to Dime play Slaughtered,Shedding Skin,Use My 3rd Arm and all of the other classicks live is just fucking amazing. And off of BlackTooth, Hard Lines is almost better than the album version, he pulls that solo off 100% perfect.

Rest In Peace, Metal will never be the same. The other non Death/Black metal bands I love anymore are Pantera and Megadeth. Metal will never be the same again.
