i'm with you; i've never given a shit about any of their cover songs. PC i can understand including, because it was a single/video, but the rest...come on, throw on a couple more Trendkill songs or something. Fuck!

Collectors wanting every released album? People just finding interest in the band? Vinnie Paul selling his oven so he can buy 60 copies of it?

No shit... where you come from  just about every song on the first DOWN album is better than that.. easily

And there _definitely_ should have been War Nerve and Floods, or Sandblasted Skin even, from Trendkill.

Right. They should have just put on all the songs they play live the most. But I guess that would end up pretty similar to 101 Proof Live. Come to think of it, 101 Proof is a better "greatest hits" than the Greatest Hits!! :x

it's the worst way to sum up a great career, put out a cd with all the singles and covers

they probably have 0 to say about it. or they told Vinnie they'd make more money that way

Drag The Waters is one of the worst songs on Trendkill... if they have to give it only ONE song, I can't even believe that it's Drag The Waters. 'Course it should have had like 3 or 4 Trendkill songs on it.

The CD was meant to sell copies and make money, not to please the whiny fanboys.

Yeah, I guess they always mush up Greatest Hits albums with a lot of covers so they will attract interest from people who are barely interested in the actual band but might like one or two songs and be a fan of Black Sabbath. GNR's greatest hits had a bunch of covers on it too, I always see covers on Greatest Hits albums...

Even so, it's not a great representation of the band, IMO.
