My image went fail... I'm looking forward to checking it out. My only issue with EZDrummer is that I can't do enough with it. I'm kind of stuck with the drums that are there, and the lonely 8 mixer channels. And the overhead and room settings are harsh... Hopefully Superior Drummer is better in thos...

EZDrummer can GTFO
I'm in the process of downloading Superior Drummer.
Has anyone tried this out yet, or is everyone still figuring out EZDrummer?

the one i played was too heavy and annoying as fuck whether i played it sitting down or standing up. the neck was too thick but the pickups were great. i love white explorers though. White Explorer + matching headstock = And which model did you play? Maybe it's the fact that I'm used to my he...

I really want to get my hands on an Edwards and try it, but 1,000 USD is way too much to pay for a guitar I haven't tried first so I went with the EX. I used to be sold on Ibanez, but the post lawsuit Destroyer is ugly and the ESP has a more comfortable neck. http://www.americanmusical.com/Item--i-I...

The ESP EX is a bit severe on the edges, but it's smaller and lighter than most traditional type Explorers. It's about the same weight as the Epiphone Korina, by my guess. And the neck is perfect... at least for me. Thicker than an Ibanez, but thinner than a Gibson. I also tried out an Ibanez 8 stri...

Finally made up my mind...
Picked up one of these this afternoon after playing it. http://dantheman1969.files.wordpress.com/2007/05/ex-400_ow.jpg Very nice middle of the road guitar, for sure. Not expensive (600 USD) but also not rickety like some imports tend to be, Korean made rather than Chinese or Indonesian, and it...

Kaoss pad guitar  I don't need a new piece of hardware to make that stupid fake guitar noise. If I really wanted to, I could use one of the many soft synths or modular programs I have. The Moog guitar though, looks interesting. I'd like to at least try one of those out. I love synths an...

Lyric writing?
I don't know if I've started a thread about this already... but I figured I'd ask around anyway.
What do those of you who are lyricists (serious ones) do for inspiration?
I welcome Tyson's feedback too.

I just torrented it. And I still use 7... even though 8 is out.

That should go pretty quickly if you have a good strong connection.

That's possible too. hektik - What you could do is Google for instructions on using a cracked version on Mac. I unfortunately know very little about Macs. But I would strongly recommend, since you seem to be just learning how to use VSTs and DAWs, that you try out Ableton Live. It's as powerful as a...

I just read something that said Logic 8 doesn't support VST or RTAS plugins. :x And you're not really going to be able to find a stand-alone drum machine, as most them require a DAW to act as their sequencer. My best suggestion, and the easiest route I can think of off the top of my head is to torre...

Also, why don't you just use Battery with DFH samples added to the cells? You'd be able to route them as you see fit and have all the control you want in the mixer. My next step is very similar to this... I'm actually going to put the drums on different tracks in Renoise first ( an option Ableton d...

Problem with Drumkit from Hell - Technical
DAW = Ableton Live Audio Interface = The Itty Bitty Lexicon Alpha Guitars and Bass are ran direct into the Alpha, through Native Instruments Guitar Rig as a VST for recording. Problem - The drum track sounds like it's separated from the recording and sounds quite flat in comparison to my other instr...
