Re: So I decided to buy this on a whim

You can still find them modded online for under 2 bills. Even some of the mods are monkey simple and cheap to do as the circuitry is straight forward. I'll post the web site on where you can get the mods. I was originally going to do a vintage vibrochamp but everyone jacks up the price to ridiculous...

Yeah you can find stock ones for cheaper but honestly it had the mods I wanted and it was in a combo form along with under two bills after shipping, I could not resist. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rt=nc&nma=true&item=190499349846&si=DquE4Da7ZZuEjjpFruYOBQzhJyQ%253D&...

It's an 80's model. FWIW, they're much better than the current line they produce but there is no demand for them. Honestly for the price you got it is a steal.

Re: Building a speaker cabinet

Eminence gets a bad rap but IMO they work great for tube amps, are cheaper than Chinese celestions, and are made in America. If you are playing just brutal stuff, I suggest the governors. You should contact emperor cabs about getting one empty because I would not recommend building a cab unless you ...
