Re: Deftones

Saw them on Tuesday in Sacramento. Great sound, very similar setlist but Birthmark instead of Nosebleed and RX Queen instead of Prince. Awesome show except Passenger was ruined by DEP singer.

Re: Merry Xmas to ME

Hendrix restrung right-handed guitars upside down so the orientation was normal. Rand Burkey, Dan Sawno, etc. actually play upside down so the low E is where the high E usually is. And that's some cool shit.

I prefer a fixed bridge but Floyds aren't THAT bad and can be worked with. I wouldn't trust some faggot at some shop to set my action up though; feel is way too subjective.

Neck-thru, bound neck, decent bridge pickup. Licensed Floyd but who gives a shit. Definitely worth $600

how am i misrepresenting it this is from the professional line, jacksons 1990's japanese import version that rivals their USA guitars, but with cheaper hardware Well, I've had it for 15 years anyway. Have you seen the "trem" on a Squier II? It wouldn't move even if you jumped on it. Also,...

The story goes that the American luthiers taught the Japanese how to make the Jackson Professional Series guitars and went to the factory in Japan several times to adjust the production and check the guitars coming out. The Japanese luthiers did such a great job, that the top impo...

Oh.. you were serious.

I'm well aware of the quality of the old Pro imports however that is not what you have there. What you have there is basically a step above entry level. They all say "Professional" on the headstock, but the differences should be obvious.

Obviously those aren't the greatest monitors but they should be fine for tracking and playback. I'd say wait until you try them to decide if you need a sub because, at least in my experience, the better the system you do your mixing on = the more remixes necessary. When you play the finished product...

RRD seemed to get it up and running, so it must work. But I don't trust these cracked programs and for all we know it could be the Windows version only, without a Mac option like the original DVD would have. If it is the complete program then I'm almost positive he just fucked up the install.

Also, why don't you just use Battery with DFH samples added to the cells? You'd be able to route them as you see fit and have all the control you want in the mixer.

I don't know, really all I do is tap out the MIDI notes with the Axiom then use them to fire off the samples in Battery, then overlay shit using Absynth. I have Guitar Rig 3 and I've had some trouble with it. I do like how it has a Dimebag setting. However, when I play my guitar, no sounds comes out until almost a second later, making it near impossible to play since I don't hear it long after its been played. Maybe it's my interface.
