Re: Deftones
Saw them on Tuesday in Sacramento. Great sound, very similar setlist but Birthmark instead of Nosebleed and RX Queen instead of Prince. Awesome show except Passenger was ruined by DEP singer.

Re: Merry Xmas to ME
Hendrix restrung right-handed guitars upside down so the orientation was normal. Rand Burkey, Dan Sawno, etc. actually play upside down so the low E is where the high E usually is. And that's some cool shit.

Nice. I'm sure all the other luthiers that frequent the PBB musician's corner that gets one new post every 17 days will be very excited to follow your progress.

Re: Is this guitar any good?
I prefer a fixed bridge but Floyds aren't THAT bad and can be worked with. I wouldn't trust some faggot at some shop to set my action up though; feel is way too subjective.

Neck-thru, bound neck, decent bridge pickup. Licensed Floyd but who gives a shit. Definitely worth $600

Too high quality? The story goes that the American luthiers taught the Japanese how to make the Jackson Professional Series guitars and went to the factory in Japan several times to adjust the production and check the guitars coming out. The Japanese luthiers did such a great job, that the top impo...

Obviously those aren't the greatest monitors but they should be fine for tracking and playback. I'd say wait until you try them to decide if you need a sub because, at least in my experience, the better the system you do your mixing on = the more remixes necessary. When you play the finished product...

I think if you have Logic working then it's got to be a problem with ezdrummer install. I'm gonna download it and see if I can get it working in my DAW and if it works I'll walk you through it. In the meantime try Abelton. I don't know shit about that one though so the Doc will have to take over fro...

I just read something that said Logic 8 doesn't support VST or RTAS plugins. :x But there are several VST to AU wrappers that let you use them in Logic like this http://www.fxpansion.com/index.php?page=5 Ezdrummer comes with an AU plugin though. Hektik, tell us what you have done, and what is not w...

I don't know, really all I do is tap out the MIDI notes with the Axiom then use them to fire off the samples in Battery, then overlay shit using Absynth. Or I'll use a trigger on an acoustic drumkit bass/snare drum, record everything else analog and create the dynamics by hand using the velocity con...

LE is the free one so no comparison, never tried Nuendo but SL3 is basically a little more stripped down than SX3 which is pretty much Neundo without the video editing shit. SL3 is stable with zero MIDI issues (Cubase has a bad rep for MIDI timing bugs) and I've checked out 4 and 5 with no good reas...

I have Guitar Rig 3 and I've had some trouble with it. I do like how it has a Dimebag setting. However, when I play my guitar, no sounds comes out until almost a second later, making it near impossible to play since I don't hear it long after its been played. Maybe it's my interface. Latency, yep. ...

Use Logic instead. It's made for Mac, and Sonar isn't very good even on PC.

Sinister is badass, especially Diabolical Summoning/Hate/Bastard Saints. They had a female singer on a couple albums after those who was brutal as fuck.
