Priest gave no encore..... yea that really sucked, i was hoping they would come back out and play Metal Meltdown but I knew they wouldn't. I am also dissapointed that testament only played 6 songs fuck that You should of saw them at the pearl room. The reason for no encore could be because they had...

Pretty decent show on Thursday night. It started at 8:00 I guess because of that fact that it was all ages and on a Thursday. Sevendust came out with a stripped down stage and nothing but a black backdrop. Didn't know but 1 of the songs but they all had their heavy parts to them. Beers were $4.50 f...

This show was awesome just the venue sucks. I upgraded my ticket for $10 there from lawn to front area near the stage. I was pretty close for a last minute seat upgrade. The lawn was all closed off so I guess they were trying to fill all the seats and get another buck out of the fans. Seriously, $5 ...

Well, good job not saying hello to someone you clearly know like a rude/creepy person. :) Or, I'm sorry, like someone holding a grudge over some PBB bullshit. How many times have BT and papito scarred your soul with PBB bullshit? Oh that's right but they're popular, you gotta bury the hatchet with ...

I'll tell you this much: if you want a quiet set to play, you'll have to get a mesh-head kit. The rubber/neoprene heads, while quieter than an actual drumset, are still pretty fucking loud and it sounds like your beating on a stack of shelves and coffee tables. Beyond that, though, most electronic ...

Why don't you play with a bucket like the nigs near Wrigley? That is their culture, not mine. This ain't bout race. It's about copping a cheap kit yo. Gots to crawl before you walk. Drums are hard as fuck unless you have a basement. I already have a kit. I have been playing longer then you have bee...

Are you looking for sheet music for guitar/bass or drums? Tab sites ain't going to do shit for you for drums, sadly. And finding sheet music online for free is next to impossible. Don't worry about it. You'll never be in a band with Portnoy. A guy who is a extreme fan boy of Mike maybe.BassPhemy wrote:I like Portnoy's early stuff but I think he's becoming stale over time. I really hate his personality on the DT DVDs and whatever else though. I couldn't be in a band with that guy.

soul-less? ouch.Pfl?yd wrote:P.S. I think Portnoy, while certainly technically capable, is one of the most soulless-sounding drummers ever. Even when DT does covers it's like they suck all fun out of the original and then fuck the empty husk.
Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Triggered-sounding drums don't make me want to rock out on a kit. They make me want to have a bowel movement. Lots of Led Zeppelin gets me on the kit more than anything. Anyone know a site that has free sheet music to popular rock songs so I don't have to go out and buy a song book.
