Id rather get a good pick up instead of using the stock one. I'm not sure if it will sound as good as it did because I had a bunch of coil tap switches on it, so who knows if i'll have the tone i once did.

pretty sure they're stock yamaha rgx1220j pickups. i filled in all the holes, so i just have a volume knob hole right now, i just need to put the pick up in, figure out how to wire it up, and be on my merry way to shredding again the humbucker has three wires in a sleeve: a bare, a white, and a red....
