Not that I agree with you son, but I always felt like playing just straight scales and shit was kinda unoriginal so I always tried to go out of scales a lot, but I find it always sounds better to be musically correct. btw..."Just make up your own scales" has to be the fucking stupidest thing I have EVER heard. I feel like I remember Paul Gilbert talking about how this was a good idea in a video once. I suggest learning the Blues scales first. Blues is easiest for me to write a solo that sounds good bec...

The way I usually think of it, everytime the snare is hit by drums it is the end of the measure, does that mean if I'm counting I start over every snare? There are no rules in place stating that you have to hit the snare at any specific count, so that's where I think you're confusing everyone. Yeah...
