I'm debating on whether or not to see them this Friday (tomorrow). Last time I saw them at the same venue the sound check was really off and they sounded terrible. But watching Skolnick play is awesome.

I have a Schecter 7-string, would consider getting rid of it but I'd need a good sixer in return. Only electric six string I got anymore is an old Austin Strat that was the second guitar I ever bought about 6 years ago

Not that I agree with you son, but I always felt like playing just straight scales and shit was kinda unoriginal so I always tried to go out of scales a lot, but I find it always sounds better to be musically correct. Oftentimes when I went out and did my own thing it was very similar to some other ...

Yeah that's a good way to look at it. However I feel that I also benefited greatly from doing some things on my own while taking lessons at the same time. I would go home and meddle around and find some cool chords all by myself, bring them in to the lesson and he would be like "oh, change this...

I use it through my Vox semi-tube amp with a Schecter 7 string. It is OK but only when played really loudly. When it's quiet it sounds like shit or has little to no difference.

The way I usually think of it, everytime the snare is hit by drums it is the end of the measure, does that mean if I'm counting I start over every snare? There are no rules in place stating that you have to hit the snare at any specific count, so that's where I think you're confusing everyone. Yeah...

Geezer Butler and Billy Gould got me into bass.

Van Williams, Dave Lombardo, and Chris Adler got me into drumming.
