i broke a DR string after only 2 weeks of straight playing, the elixer thing is quite overrated, the only thing i like about them is the tone quality and the less swish noise of rapid power chord movements that could otherwise be corrected w/'skills... i'm currently using zack wyldes custom 10-60 g...

or at least play it right, i don't even attempt it cuz i'm a pussy and 9 out of 10 guitarists fail to pick it right w/the use of exclusive downstrokes on the main riff(yeh, what ever works, and i could play a punk rock version of mary had a little lamb using all power chords, wow!)...then again who ...
