You have to tune outer strings in, ie E -> E A -> G B -> D If you're downtuning dramatically, you may have to pop in an extra trem tension spring, depending on where the baseplate is comfortable for you. Not sure how in-depth this goes, seen better instuction sites, but it's straight from FloydRose....

Nothing sounds like Pantera, but there are maybe one or two bands that hold some influence. There's a good band from New Orleans...Soilent Green. Check them out.
