who the fuck knows? Most people had carolina missing the playoffs last year and look what happened there. Ditto for calgary in 04 and anaheim in 03. With good coaching, a solid goalie, and young gritty players, any team can win these days, although it would be nice to see a detroit or toronto win t...

I bought a sens jersey about 12 years ago... It was better when they sucked. It was cool to see them win, but then they became this rediculous powerhouse team. Now i cant stand them.

"They also want to trade Giguere but no one wants him." I'm sure more than half the league would be quite happy to have Giguere. Giguere won 30 games in 60 regular season appearances last season with a 2.66 goals against average yeah... nobody wants that. At 4 million next year for a rent...

I think im a casual Canucks fan. I always default to their games on center ice if the Rangers or the Lightning arent playing. Their home crowd always impresses me with how crazy they get.

I read an article where they have implimented some sort of new puck dynamic in 07, so it behaves more like a real puck would. The guy reviewing it shot at the goalie, it went off the goalie's glove, smacked a defenseman in the head, and went in the net. And thus begins the new EA feature: The Bullsh...

Even better is that you lost a shitty defenseman (Tom Poti), to a division rival (The Islanders).

did the nhl vid games use the new rules? yeah, but it didnt make any difference in the game play, since it always had 2 line passing off by default, so the game was wide open regardless. supposedly they rebuilt NHL07 from the ground up, so its a brand new game. I think the last time they did that w...

does anyone know the details of the OLN deal? The league needs to be back on ESPN as soon as possible. With the numbers OLN drew in, i'd be suprised if the NHL was even on OLN in a few years. I think ESPN is happy they ran, unfortunately. Well, here's to looking forward to 20 or so total games on O...

you have to say it right. All ex-Rangers are known as "Former Ranger Great".
I.E. Former Ranger Great, Jussi Markkanen.

this is a great game.

You all realize, of course, that the key to carolina's success is Cory Stillman. He's with the Bolts, they win the cup. He's with the Canes, they'll win the cup. When he gets traded to the Blues, or the Pens, they'll win the cup also. Write this down.
