Mesa cabs = overrated everything can be overated..especially when not set up correctly. True, but everyone thinks Mesas are the best amps/cabs/etc ever made, which is just not true. reverb works well to smooth it out, but like stated before, you should only use a little, not drown your tone with it. If you're looking to cut through..it needs to be eq'd differently and have a small boost on it.

the cost for just the amp..and pedal was 1600$. (ebay) had it checked out already..it works great. Brand new they run for 1950$ just for the head and a 200 more for the pedal. Once I finish buying the shock mount amp/rack case and all the rack gear..will probably be around 3500 dollars. My peavey 51...
