Definitely a good Phil moment. Good all round. The solo is an absolute masterpiece and Dime puts so many great touches into his playing... towards end of second verse for instance.

Shit video though. They could have done so much better than those badly-acted cemetery sequences. :fur:

That's the trouble with being a bassist though. Do you want Cliff Burton or Les fucking Claypool on every album or something? Bass is about flow, it's about dynamics, it's about tension, weight and emphasis. Rex is a master of all that and more - I just don't think he was all that interested in MFW ...

I reckon MFW is a good song but its definitely not one of their best. It all sounds a bit thrown together. Rex doesn't really do anything interesting (listen to his line behind the Walk solo for comparison!) and there isn't any cohesion between the vocals and the rest of the song. It's definitely on...
