It has 1/4 inch outs, it will work with anything. Addi tonally you can use the USB connection and use the PodXT as a recording interface. I agree with the hollow point post.

Back in the late 90s, I used a Digitech RP7 which was awesome and so ahead of its time. But the digital effects, delays, choruses and reverbs haven't improved much since then in Digitech products.

I peeled off the GnR-Lies advisory sticker when I was like 8 and fooled my mother into buying it for me. This was around the time that my classmates were jamming new kids on the block. That must have been around the time that they implemented the label. Stupid RIAA.

I have a lower than average range. we are gonna be covering Sly Stone and Stevie Wonder songs and while we can detune to match my range I still want to improve my technical abilities. I'm no Sly Stone or Stevie Wo...

There are hundreds of ways to inject analog recording qualities into digital tracks. You can also record digitally through analog gear or mix your digital recordings through an analog console. Essentially you are adding subtle amounts of varying types of distortion by using analog gear.

I think you are referring to vocal placement. Depending on the notes you are hitting, you'll want to focus the resonance in different places. For lower notes you want to feel as though the sound is resonating in you chest. For high notes, you'll place it in your head. You'll want to have your teache...

I took vocal lessons for a year spanning '04- '05 and again from a different teacher this past winter for a month. If you are serious about singing at any level you need to take lessons. The most important thing that you'll learn is proper breathing and breath support. With proper technique you can ...

I've mostly recorded all my own demos. The very first one I recorded became a full-length CD and it was recorded in my house. It's no Boston album, but it wasn't too bad. I've only played at a studio I paid for once. The best advice is to practice all the songs you are going to record until you got...

That would make sense since Pantera are detuned at least a half step on the album. I liked the harsh vox, they're so difficult to do and be able to speak afterward.

The plucked chord progression around 2:00 is so slick sounding. Also I'm wondering what that rag's purpose is hanging from the nut area. Supporting gang affiliation? Dampening?

I think the term "making it" has begun to shift. In the past it meant that you had a hit record and get Justin Timberlake quality ass. I think going forward, it refers more to people who earn a living playing music and with that simpler definition many more people are "making it"...

If it sounds shit with the EQ bypassed you need to work on a problem elsewhere. I never had any success using EQ to save a crappy setup.

The other guitar player in my band low passes at about 8k. For some reason his 4x12 is incredibly bright.

A good question would be how often do you change your strings? Me? Every 2 weeks or so, g, b and high e strings can go to hell.
