Really good piece of kit. I use BBE on pretty much all my recordings.

You've really gotta use it in moderation though. You can easily go anal & make things sound awful :x

A lot of people use TS-9's these with their high-gain amps these days! Not for the full distortion, but for a bit more 'ooomph'. Apparently it gives it more chunk & more defined picking. I know Andy Sneap uses them on more or less all his productions & the Killswitch guys use them religiousl...

A couple of my buds swear by Sabian AAX's. From my experiance they sound great in person. I also recorded a kit with them not too long ago & they come accross really nicely. My friends mainly use them for 'louder' stuff than Jazz, but from what I can gather off the net.. They are an 'allround' c...

No difference in sound between the 5150 & 5150II. The 5150II just has a separate EQ for each channel as apposed to a Low/Mid/High that functions for both clean & lead channels. A lot of people prefer the 5150II, as the separate EQ obviously allows them to tweak the clean channel to personal ...

Hi bud, Regarding amp settings.. You really have to change things up in a live/band situation in comparison to what you may like the sound of when your jamming to yourself in the bedroom. An EQ with plenty of Mids & as little Gain as you can get away with (without sounding weak obviously) is a g...

Why are you just looking at marshall?

If you want a nice mid roar & a metal tone for a good price, Peavey 5150 is your answer.. Why do you think pretty much every metal band on the planet have and/or still used them?!
